Paule Gros
Co-founder, Strategic Lead
Conservation biologist, PhD in Ecology, UC Davis 30-year experience in applied research, project implementation, local and indigenous peoples’ issues & philanthropy. Ex Head of Strategic Partnerships and Director of Mediterranean Programme at MAVA Foundation (14 years); Head of LINKS-UNESCO project in BOSAWAS indigenous territories, Nicaragua (6 years); Lead, Cheetah status survey, UCDavis (7 years).

The founders of the organization emphasize the urgent need to accelerate the protection and sustainable management of the world’s ecosystems to address contemporary challenges. Their goal is to safeguard nature while enhancing the well-being of local populations. The board comprises several key members, including Gonzalo Oviedo, an anthropologist and international consultant specializing in socio-cultural conservation, and Paule Gros, a conservation biologist with extensive experience in applied research and philanthropy. Rachel Sturm contributes her expertise in administration and finance.
The operational team, led by Paule Gros as CEO with a doctorate in ecology, implements conservation and sustainable management projects. Océane Cordoliani oversees communications, leveraging her expertise in environmental law and experience in communications and marketing. Together, this team integrates the needs of local and indigenous communities while safeguarding global biodiversity.
