The founders of the organization emphasize the urgent need to accelerate the protection and sustainable management of the world’s ecosystems to address contemporary challenges. Their goal is to safeguard nature while enhancing the well-being of local populations. The board comprises several key members, including Gonzalo Oviedo, an anthropologist and international consultant specializing in socio-cultural conservation, and Paule Gros, a conservation biologist with extensive experience in applied research and philanthropy. Rachel Sturm contributes her expertise in administration and finance.
